By using Image Compressor by Qanen (the “Tool”), you agree to these terms. They are written to be as short and honest as possible.

You can use it for free

The Tool is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use. There are no accounts, keys or usage quotas. You own everything you create with it — the images you compress remain yours.

How it works, and what that means

The Tool performs compression inside your browser. We do not receive your files, so we cannot recover, back up, or take responsibility for images on your device. Please keep your own backups of originals before overwriting them.

No warranty

The Tool is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. Compression is lossy unless you choose the Lossless preset, and results depend on your browser, hardware and the source image. We do not guarantee that the Tool will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Acceptable use

Don’t use the Tool to process material you are not permitted to handle, or to misrepresent compressed images. You are responsible for the content you work with.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above. Continued use means you accept the current terms.
